Someday a Bird Will Poop on You is a book I illustrated in 2014 and then again in 2018, after Little, Brown & Co. bought it.
Written by Sue Salvi, this thing makes people laugh the second they see the cover. It was originally written for kids, but morphed into a popular gift for people on the receiving end of metaphorical poops. The main message is that the outcome of an event is largely dictated by your response to it.
Sue and I have done book festivals, school appearances, and provide a handy punch card you can keep in your wallet, to prove to everyone exactly how brave you are in the face of a bird's healthy digestive functioning.
Now translated and published in the Czech Republic and Taiwan. Not bad for someone’s very first attempt at designing a book. That someone being me.
